What non-super ability would make your life easier?

I mean things like: being able to do maths without a calculator, being able to talk anyone out of a negative feeling or knowing what time it is and how much time you've spent doing something without needing a watch to tell you etc

I'd choose the ability to recover my muscles quickly. This would benefit me as it would allow me to use my muscles for longer periods of time, and also not have to rest as long afterwards, allowing me to gain strength much quicker as a result. With this I could probably go to the gym every single day to do a workout that's twice as intense as what I do right now!

Probably the ability to write everything correctly the first time without needing editing or making typos. Though, the very act of editing is a journey of discovery, so maybe just the typos/bad grammar part.

Or maybe growing plants really well--just, have everything I plant grow and flourish really nicely. Still have to do the work, it just doesn't die randomly.

@ Sagie: I want that plant power as well!

It would help me a lot to have a stronger and more rigid will. Like force myself to get up in the morning, force myself to concentrate on my goals, and ignore distractions. I feel like I would accomplish so much more.

Would a photographic/perfect memory count? That would make it so much easier to learn all the things which I wish to learn. Otherwise, probably what Cipher said.

I read somewhere that some people with photographic memory have some difficulties with letting go of unpleasant past events because they remember it so vividly and accurately. I guess there are downsides to everything.

Hmm, I can understand why that what be a problem. I still think it would be advantageous in a lot of respects, however.

I wonder if people with photographic memory could understand their dreams better? I mean dreams takes a lot of info we just kinda forgot, like the faces of passerby and stuff...

Speaking of which, my ability would be able to remember my dreams (It has a name, I just forgot about it) and being able to manipulate them, I have some pretty darn good ideas but my brain is always fuzzy with tons of useless info and awareness of noise and movements that I may be able to get a clearer picture in my dreams

Are you talking about lucid dreaming, Diego?

Exactly, thank you Harly, itīs either that or the ability to focus, I get things lost at the tip of my tongue very frequently, thatīs the reason why I have to practice a lot to give a presentation, because I forget things mid sentence

Lucid dreaming is actually a very attainable skill; there are lots of guides and methods and info available online, if you are interested. You may get your super power yet! :D

I don't know how lucid dreaming would make your life easier, but I guess maybe that's something most psychologists would wish for?

Don't try to be a lucid dreamer. It will ruin your sleeping cycle.

Awww how much worse could it get??*

*I did try for a little while, but after a few nights just said "fuck it" to the part where you're supposed to record your dreams immediately after waking up.
