My parents didn't let me play yugioh, they thought it was satanic. They let me watch Pokemon though, because Pikachu was cute. :P |

I frankly donīt remember how I got into Golden Sun, I believe that I also emulated the first game and bought the second one, the game has always been awesome but I believe I loved it more because joining the old forums made me feel special, I found friendships and made me learn English much faster than my peers. Then I bought the second game and brought it with me to school, and just played whenever I felt lonely and it was like if I was back in here with all of you. I love the series because of what they meant to me |

A good friend of mine from church had it. I trust his opinions since we have similar taste in games, so when I finally got my GBA (my first system bought with my own money!), I had enough money for two games. I chose Golden Sun and Megaman Battle Network 2. GS I played first, and of course loved it. I think I was... a freshman in high school back then? So I was 14. |

I first played the game back in middle school because some kid next to me had the games and couldn't beat Kandorean Temple because he couldn't figure out how to jump on the pedestals. I then spent like, a year searching for those games and found them used in a gamestop. Never looked back. I somehow wiped my original copy of TLA so that the game couldn't be read anymore, and ultimately had to buy a new copy. It has been my favorite game since I first played it, and I ultimately met my girlfriend because of this game. We became friends in high school because of it, and here we are, 7 years after that happened with 4 years of us being in a relationship. It holds so much sentimental value to me, between the memories of the game itself and the memories that have been tied to it through my friends, my girlfriend and all the people I've met online because of it. |

I recall seeing the second game years ago and thinking it was related to the Boktai series. (Golden Sun; Solar Boy). The next big event was seeing Isaac in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Some time after that I picked up Golden Sun Dark Dawn while searching for a new DS game. |

The Boktai games are fantastic. I was so hyped when I found out Lunar Knights was coming out you have no idea. |

Okay so mine is kinda... Typical? I got Dark Dawn as a gift, and enjoyed it until ( like a newb ) I got stuck in the Chaos Chimera. I'm sorry, I wasn't very experienced in JRPGs or strategy at the time (plus I was only like, nine). So I stopped playing for a few years. After a while I finally picked it up again 'cuz I was bored, and I defeated it. In the middle of the night. So I watched the ending in the morning. I got obsessed like teens do and bought the first one. I loved it. However when I tried playing TLA the stupid Password wouldn't work. So yeah... Yay? |

Haha yeah, the password is a nightmare. We've all struggled with it in our time. It's usually some small error or 3 while you were writing it down, but it's such a pain to go back and forth between the two with just one GBA/DS to check it and write it down all over again. If you can't get yours to work you could look for one online, or play without, I posted one of mine up here some time ago for Diego, I could find it again if you like? Sure! I would really appreciate that! My issue is when it does work, it's not the same file. There aren't any djinn, stats, items, etc. it's really weird. |

Oh, that's normal. The save file doesn't instantly give you everything. You still get to play most of the game with Felix's party and very few extra events as proof of a password being used. The items and stats are for Isaac's party, so you only receive them when Isaac and friends join you. It would be pretty boring to start off against level 3 wolves with Isaac the level 35 armed with Gaia blade. Where would be the fun in literally killing the earlier bosses in a single basic attack anyway? And I just now realize I never actually answered the original question. I got the game when I was still in primary(basically the same as elementary) school. I asked for it as a present after someone at school talked to me about it. The whole idea of the four elements and fighting off a dragon somewhere at some point looked really fun, so I asked my parents for. And so my parents gave me The Lost Age, not knowing there was a slightly important prequel to it. And so my journey begins with "who's that?" the red-haired girl who should have been a guy capable of summoning lava. Needless to say, I understood pretty fast that it wasn't the same game even though the title was the same. I kept playing because it was fun. I was pretty bad back then, I kept having to go to the healer's house to get my characters revived after they fell in battle. I don't remember where I stopped playing, but I hadn't reached Kibombo yet. I only completed the game on my second playthrough, starting over from scratch. The game felt easier than I remembered, I almost never died. I got stuck at the boat though. I didn't know it was possible to get through the small passage between the continents by boat and never even thought of entering that zone, so I sailed and sailed through the vast oceans until I finally looked up how to cross over to the other side in a walkthrough. Other than that it all went smoothly. I liked Golden Sun from the start, I didn't even mind the really long prologue. Edited by Delfes, Nov 6 2015, 03:51 AM.

Yes, I know that, but I mean when the file comes up for you to check it. Unless that is what you meant. When the password works and the file comes up for you to check, there'so no djinn, stats, etc. |

Ok, so it's only a silver password, but here you go: Page 1: f9L$D ?DY59 C!5ut W25$S XQ4fd h+k%Y =DdvY JDrkH zDwfW #?=WU Page 2: 73Xc! jpQxV $ They should be at least level lvl 36 and have all Djinn. |
