I don't. I think it's better when everyone involved gets a full share to themselves. |

I love sharing. I didn't when I was a kid but it's something I've grown to love. This applies mostly to stuff like gifts or food and drinks. |

It's almost become second nature, especially when it comes to food. I normally buy enough for everyone to have a least one piece of it and whatnot. |

I do, but I am aware that I do it mostly for personal benefit, having people in your debt can be really useful, I canīt possibly be ready for any kind of situation, therefore I put a lot of my resources in getting other peopleīs aid whenever I need it. Donīt take me wrong, I share with good intentions and can share with anyone, but I donīt hesitate to ask a favor back, everybody has something to offer Edited by Diego, the mentor, May 2 2015, 01:47 AM.

I have a very weird opinion of sharing. I think sharing is a must for a community to function correctly and happily, but I have a very hard time accepting that people share things with me when I know I will never be able to give them a similar treatment. Any other time, I'm fine with sharing almost anything. Food is one of those things I just can't get myself to accept without feeling bad about it when offered some. Whenever I go out I only bring barely enough food for myself, so I know I won't be able to offer any to someone or else I'm going to be hungry to the point of it being distracting. Because of that, whenever someone I'm not particularly close to offers me food I have a hard time accepting it, because I know I'll never bring enough to share some in return and am not close enough to meet that person in a situation where I would be capable of returning the favour. It feels like it's a one way thing and I'm taking advantage of that person and makes me feel bad... |

I like to share. I do it especially often with food, it's easy just to give someone a little bit and is always appreciated. |

It depends on the situation. For instance, with regard to food, if I buy something to share, then I like it, it makes everyone happy. But if I buy something for only me and no one else gets anything, I feel forced to share, and I end up sharing even though I don't want to. |

It really depends on what we're talking about, and there's not really a pattern to what I like or dislike sharing, either. What's more, there's the difference between sharing and gifting, which I'll explain right now: Sharing is when both parties have an equal stake in it. Gifting is when one party grants the other a portion of something. To me, sharing money would mean we both share a bank account, and can both deposit and withdraw from it. Giving money would mean me giving someone $20. To share implies equal responsibility in this case, while gifting lets party B do what they please with their new twenty. Another example would be... say, Borderlands. Sharing has two examples - either we both use the same computer to play the same game, or we both play together and share the experience. Gifting means I give my little brother the game - as in, buy it for him. I personally believe these two are separate - sharing and gifting are done for different reasons, and have different sets of expectations. One can lead to the other, but they're technically different. To me, some things I don't like to share. I won't share money with someone, for instance. I've got some major trust issues in regards to such things, which have only been compounded by horror stories I've heard. However, I'm all for sharing experiences. I like doing things with others, so long as things doing get crowded. If a meal is crazy big, I could share a meal with someone. Lord knows we share stuff like salsa and queso all the time down here. |

Depends on the thing being shared and the person involved. |

Actually, I think I'd definitely share my skills in a fight where a teammate/co-op partner was in trouble. |
