We could have a big debate about nuclear power I imagine (although for the next week or two I'm personally taking a break from internet debates where I can). I'm with governments on this - at least, the ones that have reservations about classic fission power, or toxic waste and the damage to natural habitats by the mining involved in any conventional fuel. But this is not the thread for such a debate (since it isn't in the Senate), so I suggest we stay on topic. Please feel free to make a new thread if you want to continue that conversation though. It's really nice when discussions develop out of other discussions. :) On topic: I'd love to see the invention of new genres of art based on the impossibilities made possible in virtual reality. Of course, we've already seen some art in video games that would be impossible to see anywhere else - endless staircases and weird physics could create their own art. But if you can defy physical rules in a space where you have the same level of fine motor control as you do in real life, the art you could make could be something completely new and different. |

I'd be pretty content with an Olive Garden breadstick and Red Lobster cheddar biscuit that never actually runs out. You take a bite and it's still all there. |
