One time at work, my male coworker and I were storing some supplies and I was carrying the heavier boxes when a female coworker called us out on it saying, "you shouldn't be making Rin carry those boxes! You're the man!"

But physically he couldn't lift the boxes as well as I could. I just thought it was annoying that it had nothing to do with who could do the job but what gender should be associated with lifting things.

I would erase the tradition of necessarily drinking alcohol when going out. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't ban alcohol, but I would like to eliminate the peer pressure to drink for those who do not want to.

I would totes ban it. Too much bad happens because people can't drink responsibly.

I guess as a writer and a poet, I think there are some things innately beautiful about the concepts in of themselves, both in writing and in personal life.

In Rin's example, obviously, it's silly.

I'm agreed there (@drinking), I like a drink from time to time, but there is a serious alcohol problem in the UK. And if you're out at a pub and don't have a drink you'll get raised eyebrows from everyone else, if not some "playful banter". There is a lot of pressure and it makes it very hard for people who want to stop.

I don't usually like to drink every time I go out but I do drink now and again. There are a lot of people I know who don't understand that you don't have to drink to have fun or be out, usually they have some other issue that's pushing them to it and they don't want to drink alone so they stand out.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish we could develop masculinity and femininity as concepts without them being tied, positively or negatively, to being male or female anatomically or identifiably or otherwise.

I thought Yin Yang were exactly these...

I have absolutely no idea.
even if they are, they are certainly not representative of all, or even most of society.
I mean in the terms of social change, not as concepts on their own. Like it would require a reboot of how we view genders because people suck at not being bigots.

Everything everyone has mentioned and Older men (or anyone) calling woman they don't know 'darling' or 'love' . I find it creepy, by in a way I don't feel I can call out, because they mean it harmlessly , I just find it overly personal and a bit degrading.

Old men...are the future. http://youtu.be/Vxi7JRJrod4?t=36s

I don't think I'd get rid of much, honestly. I'd move most of then FAR from me at all times, but if they're gone I can't pick on them for it.
I HAVE COME HERE TO KICK ASS AND TALLY POINTS.

AND THE POINTS DON'T MATTER.
