Hey there, all! I'm looking at perhaps making a review of Golden Sun TBS and TLA as one in one video, or perhaps separating the two. Not really sure at this point, but I think it'd be a fun project for me. It got me wondering, just what were some of my favorite parts in the two games, that I should get footage of, for the video? I don't want to just have combat and wandering bits everywhere, but they will have to be in there, somewhere... So, I immediately thought of asking you guys: What was one of the moments from the first two Golden Sun games that you remember best? Be it either from a personal experience, an inside joke, something you particularly found witty--I dunno. Just throw some moments you immediately think of from the games at me! :D For example: The bit in TLA when Jenna blushes furiously when Sheba asks if Isaac and her are an item, or, for me personally, the beginning of Venus Lighthouse and its puzzles therein. I always loved that place, if not just for its music, then its fun buildup to Saturos and Menardi at the top. This is to say nothing of what the structure of the video will be like. This isn't for ideas in the script I hope to make so much as it is recording bits and pieces that people found/find funny or interesting about the GS games. Also, none of this is really set in stone--I just began reviving my old games channel, and this would be a good motivator to keep it up. In advance, thanks, and if there's a particular thread like this that I should've looked to beforehand, my sincerest apologies, and please have no qualms about tossing this post. |

Mia's "What, is there a pharmacy down there?" is absolutely priceless. Cheating at Colosso is also a highlight. |

I'd probably try to find the longest string of emote bubbles in a row in a conversation. Golden Sun: Teaching people how to understand body language. I don't remember what the highest number was. Maybe 4 or 5 in a row? |

Hopping on top of the spinning gears in the Kobombo(?) statue in the Lost Age was pretty memorable for me. The huge "Djinn Room" in the Anemos Sanctum was pretty cool and left a big impression on me. Same with some of the rooms in Air's Rock. I remember the room with the Flora tablet being really pretty. For the first game, I really loved the moment of meeting Flint for the first time. |

Ooh, this is a good place to put this, I know it's like the smallest, most irrelevant mechanic, but I love how you can push around NPC's when walking around, It really bugs me in games like pokémon when you just get stopped in your tracks as soon as you collide with another person, especially since it makes no difference whether they're moved or not. The fact that you can move NPC's in GS is an underrated design choice that I find very satisfying. |
To be a shining hobgoblin, as in my dreams!![]() ![]() ![]()

Hahaha yeah it's super satisfying and it's an elegant solution as opposed to simply passing through with no collision |
