See title. What would you or some mythological thing you like or whatever be like as a summon? What kinds of djinn and how many would it take to summon them? Would they be accessible by summoning circle thingy instead? What fancy action do they perform for the cinematic? What would the effect be? What's their HP multiplier? Power fortification? Would it be freely available to those with requisite djinn who know about it, or would they require a tablet? If so, what would it be guarded by? Tell us. Edited by Nedben, Oct 2 2016, 05:07 PM.

Janus Requires 3 Jupiter and 3 Venus Djinn to summon The user summons a large door, which opens to reveal Janus (appearing as a bearded man with two heads clad in Roman armor). Janus then creates another door under the enemy's feet, dropping them through to another dimension where vortexes and comets barrage every enemy. Then one final door opens and the enemies are dropped back into their home dimension, dealing Jupiter damage. |

Tisiphone Requires Tisiphone's Window, an item made by tying together 4 (possibly 12 or more? Some number anyway) Tisiphone Edges in the shape of a square (or a window). Summoned with 3 Venus, 2 Jupiter djinn. Summons Tisiphone to perform a massive volley of her Vengeance unleash arrows, pelting the enemy party with golden arrows for massive Venus damage, roughly equivalent to performing the Unleash on each enemy but with the base attack of only the weapon itself (unleash-added bonus damage is still factored into the calculation). Like Daedalus, on the next turn she comes back with a second attack, though this one is Jupiter based, rushing through the enemy party once as a runner trailing starlight for a small amount of extra damage, similar to the Jupiter unleashes the weapon gains in DD. Noted as below, severely reduced djinn on basis that the item slot will handle the rest. Edited by Nedben, Oct 4 2016, 03:18 PM.

Sounds more useless than Iris - djinn requirement is too crippling, and it'll consume an inventory slot, which are a bit more precious in GS than in other games. As for me, here's one. Juno - 1 Jupiter, 1 Mercury Classic: 40 power +6% HP% damage, boosts party spellcasting power Classic Revised: 40 power +4% HP% damage, boosts party spellcasting power Classic Animation: Spell circle appears beneath enemy party centered on the central target. Two orbs of lightning form opposite one another in the circle, creating an electric storm that damages the foes. As the spell ends, Juno appears pulling back from the foe, a rod in either hand, in the same manner as Megaera. A spellcasting boost animation occurs on the party as she disappears. MK2 System: Summons Juno, wielding a rod in either hand. While on the field, boosts party Casting by 10% as a field effect. Fights as a spellcasting-version of Megaera. |

Dionysus [ 4 2 ]"Call upon the vine's bounty, and drink of the harvest." Acquisition: Perhaps the summon is "learned" after an event in some location, like a royal garden, or somesuch? Effect: Dionsyus appears as a male youth with a laurel and loincloth holding a chalice of wine. Upon summoning, he supports the party by applying various beneficial effects at the start of every turn, ranging from increasing their Attack or Casting, undoing status ailments, healing, or, occasionally, reviving, though it is highly recommended not to depend on Dionysus to do such a thing. Instead of attacking, he will usually attempt to inflict Delusion or Confuse upon enemies instead, or even Poison them. ... oh, classic, usual version? I suppose he would... oh, I don't know, drink, then pour his wine upon the enemy? Will attempt to inflict Poison first, Delusion next, and Confusion next on enemies, then heal the party, along with either increasing their attack and spellcasting, restoring all ailments, increasing their speed, or reviving (and healing for a lot more). Venus emote, except greener. RealVenus star? ...What WOULD Golden Sun be like with a Saturn? To be ontopic, Hemera 2 Mars, 1 Mercury, 1 Venus, 1 Jupiter A woman stands up to appear from beyond a dark horizon, bringing day to the world, and pulls up a sphere of golden sunlight that she then pitches at the party like it's a baseball that explodes into a pillar of shining light. Unleashes a mentally restorative wave of alchemical energy over the party, fully restoring their PP meters and for the next 4 turns providing 20% PP meter restoration to all party members. The summon tablet would be hidden somewhere incredibly bright, similar to the Apollo Lens, befitting her role as primordial goddess of day. As a summoned party member, she would provide the party PP regen as a field effect and attack with Mars beams as a caster, possibly having the Aura series to have the physically revitalizing effects of alchemical infusions as well. Norn 2 Jupiter 1 Mercury An unclear member of the norse Fates cloaked in heavy grey-blue robes descends from above and pulls out rainbow threads from each enemy to discern where fate allows for a random easy win or at least random damage, then cuts them off with scissors to make it so. Has a considerable chance to down enemies instantly calculated individually, but otherwise inflicts 90 base Jupiter damage plus 9% of the enemies' max HP. 30 Jupiter 10 Mercury power boost. The summon tablet would be hidden near a well requiring Reveal to find, though future sight being useful might also somehow play into it (a randomly timed push-away floor tilt maybe?). As a summoned party member, she would have attacks that deal low damage but have good instant down chance, and generally serve as a low-level controller on the side to represent bending fate or taking advantage of future sight. |

Venus is Brown, likely for a reason. That's the color of stone/dirt, as well as the color of bark. Works for all aspects, unlike green.

:RealVenus: RealVenus emote VenusStar emoteEmotes are weird. That said, Valkyrie "Revive fallen allies, then bring some more to the fray." 2 Mars 2 Venus A heavily armored female figure on a flying white horse appears in the heavens and raises a shining spear to call the fallen back to battle, which revives all downed party members, then flings the spear at a targeted enemy to direct some heavily armored norse soldiers (einherjar probably) to drop down on the enemy party and slash at them a bit before jumping away again, for 160ish base Venus damage plus 12% enemy HP, then raising summoner power by 30 Mars and 30 Venus. Summon tablet should be somewhere on a famous historical battlefield, possibly in an ignored shrine area or in a nearby burial ground. As a summoned party member, serves as a mars-venus support fighter to bring back downed adepts and provide cure or aura psynergy when necessary, otherwise using mundane physical attacks or against enemies weak to Venus and/or Mars elemental physical attacks such as Ragnarok and Planet Diver. May boost damage of calling/summoning psynergies or other summons as a field effect? Idunno. Edited by Nedben, Oct 5 2016, 12:53 PM.

Odin: Requires 1 Venus, 1 Mars, 1 Jupiter, 1 Mercury Odin appears as a man with a flowing beard and an eyepatch clad in golden armor with a comically giant axe in hand. He swings the axe around, slicing through all enemies as he goes. It does damage based on the combined total attack of the four party members currently on the feild. |

Hecuba "Call up the queen of the fallen city and restore its walls." 2 Jupiter, 2 Mars, 2 Venus, 2 Mercury. A weeping woman in robes of royalty above a burning cityscape howls to the sky as a group of 8 silhouetted heroes (2 of each element, representing the djinni used to call the summon, as noted by the color of the psynergy light in their hands) raise their arms and begin casting something, causing a great pillar of nearly invincible walls to erupt from the earth in a fashion creepily similar to the Eclipse Tower, creating an impressive wall of shadows from every element that cloaks the party in defensive shadows. Party adepts have their defense and resistances bolstered by 50%/the maximum as a standard buff, and gain Chasm-tier 90% damage reduction on top of that for a turn, and become unaffected by Break and equivalents for 3 turns. Alternatively, it could just make the whole party invincible to anything the enemy could possibly do for a turn or two as if everybody had just used Haze. As a summoned party member provides some level of damage reduction (similar to the 'cut all damage inflicted to allies by X% djinni, though probably much lower for balance purposes) to the party as a field effect, but otherwise acts as a defender-supporter who will use Guardian/Protector and Magic Shell/Magic Shield, a Pack Defend variant, or improved summon-level-entity variants, though her offensive arsenal if the party is as defended as they can get is poor in terms of actual damage output, basically 'basic attacks, Break, Drain, Psy Drain, maybe some random summon-creatures-to-attack shenanigans' if that. Most likely has a Haze-like ability that makes a party member outright invincible to anything the enemy can do for the turn. Hecuba's summon tablet is hidden in the ruins of an ancient city destroyed so long ago it's fallen into myth if it's remembered at all, in the heart of the royal palace covered up by the remains of the huge amount of protective psynergy used to form a desperate last stand barrier before the enemy forces managed to break in and defeat them, a relic of the past elevated to summon status as Ulysses was. - Saturn 3 Jupiter 3 Venus "The god of time gives you a moment." At beginning of turn action cycle, a dark bearded figure combining several interpretations of the god of time descends from above, then takes out the watch effect from the Halt psynergy and stops the hands to represent the stopping of time, causing the world except for the player characters to be paused in psynergy-colors and giving the ally team a whole extra turn (or equivalent length of time to do a single relevant combat action) before the enemies can act at all. This extra turn only counts for allies, but it does everything a turn going by would do, including djinn counters, regen, etc. ZA WARUDO EDIT for clarity: the extra turn takes place right after the summoning rather than continuing the agility routine.
