You ever made a character that you just really love but never could find a place for? Or maybe you just had a really good idea and just haven't found a shot to make it a reality, huh. Either way, I'm sure lots of us have unused characters so I figured this would be a good spot to talk about 'em, huh! I admit I may have... a few.

Name: Morty "Grease" Levin
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Battle style: Magic
So, the premise of this guy was that he's a super rad modern greaser sporting a pompadour, leather jacket, and ridiculous over the top personality. He's a dwarf, standing in at 3'8", but it doesn't seem to bother him and despite some people making small jokes or treating him differently, he's perfectly happy with his bone structure and small stature. I imagine in battle he'd be a mage, and of course instead of shouting the actual spell names, he shouts catchphrases like "Grease Lightning", "Hot Rod", and "Cooler than Cool". Obviously this is one of my goofier characters but I can't help but love him. I'd also like to note that I did make a Lalafell character in FFXIV based on the concept, but of course the nature of an MMO makes it hard to fully capture his character. (When I can, I shout the catchphrases though)

Name: Yorick
Gender: Male (?)
Race: Undead
Battle style: Swordsmanship
I knew this guy well. He's a reanimated skeleton who fights with a two handed sword. Although he isn't a bard, he likes to carry around a guitar and sing for the party (and trust me, he's a horrible singer). He speaks with a 16th Century dialect yet for some reason he wears a poncho and a sombrero. Part of the reason I haven't used this character yet is because I really want him to be the main protagonist's dead father. (I dunno why but I'm fascinated about the protagonist's actually dead father just coming along for the ride and annoying the protagonist with poor lyrical content).

Name: Satomi (Sato)
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Battle style: Ninjitsu, puppets
This one was going to be my character for Mr. Wrath's Fire Emblem RPG, but naturally she fell alongside it. Basically, Satomi is a girl who loved playing with dolls as a kid, but she grew up in a ninja clan that forbade her from using puppets until she masters ninjitsu. Of course, this means she became a ninja, specifically one who specializes in disguising herself as a male to seduce women. The party was supposed to be under the impression that she was a male until she finally reveals her true identity and begins battling with puppets. It was supposed to be a big reveal but... eh.

Those are the only ones I can think of now, so yeah, what characters have you guys wanted to show the world, huh?

I'm just gonna dump some random characters I made for forgotten roblox RPs and other things, since that industry is dead and I wasn't able to fit them into OSLT beyond as momentary people before it imploded into a cringe singularity, so they're all...unfinished. Incomplete. Left hanging. Missing anything more than 'beginning of concept'.

Name: Celuna Gale
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Battle style: Magic, explosives, potions
A classic-appearance blonde generic princess from a large family of questionably sane and cannibalistic royalty, who built castles made of explosives just to troll people with them and used her magic to generally run around on a flying broom committing random acts of explosion and mad science on the evils of the world. Some of her non-royal non-magical concepts were recycled into Julie Lamarck for Replay Value AU, but their personalities differ since the Lillian-element is one and the same character rather an external and separate party.

Name: Maurice the Squid
Gender: Male
Race: Squid
Battle style: Plot devices, smacking
A giant squid who comically squiddled out of the ocean around the landscape whenever the plot lapsed in reason. Was barely used and I think I just named him now since Fred was later taken by my eldritch abomination OC.

Name: Luminosity
Gender: Male
Race: Light god
Battle style: LAAAAAAASERRRRRS and also the mythical blade of light which wasn't actually a lightsaber
A generic reality-warper universe-making deity because The Mythical Blades setting was...weird. Originally an illumination god that grew up after realizing something enlightenment-y (all puns intended). One of my first honest character-other-than-Nedben-or-a-generic-playable-character-entity RP characters, who was honestly quite underpowered in the grand scheme of things, which probably explains to you how nastily high the power bar got set for the 'Zqaplay' continuity of roleplaying from the very start.

Name: Katie Allen
Gender: Female
Race: Catgirl (originally 'bephian', effectively the RWBY faunus local equivalent)
Battle Style: Magic, being an Erika Furudo ripoff, gunfire at all the enemies, a blade made out of edginess
A comically infuriated witch who ran around Icarus complaining about the awfulness of the setting but who kept getting rejected by the local clique of characters because the OOC game affected the IC game too much. She has some surprisingly evil and specific characterization I will probably keep if she is remade in a better world than the freefloating OSLT, but I don't think should be shared here.

Name: Valerie Pierce
Gender: Female
Race: Valkyrie (another Icarus Badlands race, where instead of collecting dead warriors they were just ageless sniper pretty girls with healing powers, though thanks to Age of Mythology I could see her reappearing as an actual honest-to-goodness valkyrie)
Battle Style: Geneforge creature creation, especially fyoras, occasionally 'what happens if we fuse touhou and kill la kill' battle dresses that are essentially power ranger outfits with more laser cannons
A biotechnology-studying magician and doctor who wielded a laser staff and was allegedly killed in battle against an eldritch abomination, but thanks to the unsatisfying nature of the setting ambiguously came back to life locally or was raised out-of-game into OSLT-canon. She wore steampunk spectacles and humorously had her golden locks secured by nothing more than a headband, resulting in 'ow hair' moments. Almost always wore labcoats for virtually every occasion, including a normal white one, edgy black and red one, and formal blue with green detail one.

Name: Mike Starbell
Gender: Male
Race: 'Helltek' (An Icarus human-variant that was highly attuned to magical energy, similar to the Ecarian energists of the setting but with a different default-palette of powers and far less lore even among the trainwreck of incompetent and incomplete writing that was the Icarus lore and canon in general. Hellteks' culturally defining feature was their annual Bone Ceremony festival of magic and progress)
Battle style: MAGICAL CANNON BEAAAAM and generally a lightshow musical performance of dolls and deathrays and assorted magic charms
A traveling musician who took over for Valerie after her death in the job of 'observing and interfering' in Steamson, the main town of the RP setting. Unfortunately, an event boss disguised as a bunny-holding child resisted Mike's attempts to be a creeper because Mike was driven insane by the sheer plothole-y-ness of the surrounding events that attempted to be 'horror' and failed so epically it was like listening to my mother, and was trying to kidnap people, which nearly killed him because the event boss godmodded around attacks that should've been very hard for a child to resist coming from an armed grown man, and then he aggro'd a strong guy who effectively punched him out of the setting resulting in his replacement by Katie.

Name: Plurality
Gender: Male-appearing but it was probably hermaphroditic
Race: Narrative composite pseudo-human
Battle style: godmodding
Plurality was a character written as the summative power of the entire OSLT continuity idealized and instantiated into a singular character as a mask-being worn by various characters to wield narrative authority and the powers of all-and-writing as [trailing off into godmodbabble intensifies] who was basically used as a brute-force attempt to prove to people that the Icarus Badlands management system was utter garbage and people would invariably call you out on the wrong broken rules and strategically pick and choose what was and wasn't enforced to the point of being an adminocracy, and didn't work until people naturally caught on after I stopped shitposting and left entirely. However, he was fun to play while he lasted, so I'm thinking continuity-forms of less brutally OP stories might prove interesting experiences as well (imagine the trippiness of a bunch of classic stories battle a bigger/higher-powerscale story like a bunch of short stories banding up against Alice in Wonderland or something).

Name: Liebschen
Gender: Male
Race: Catboy (some form of destruction spirit or fairy whatever, it's complicated)
Battle style: Dagger spam and lasers
A cat destruction spirit artificer who seals a bigger dog destruction spirit and was generally 'what the hell this is the exact opposite personality of a destruction spirit'. Was originally a fairy kept by Celuna referred to as Meta Axis the 3rd before exploding into like three or four different character iterations before settling as beloved cat.

Name: Lucas
Gender: Male
Race: Gap demon thing
Battle style: Portal abuse
This guy in a bowler hat with originally a split personality whose original backstory was a more lore-unfriendly fanficcy mess than My Immortal, spanning everything from Yukari to Sheogorath. Had a tendency to show up in utterly broken or dead worlds and take back with him survivors and liked elements of the setting so that the good part of a godawful story or disgusting setting could be used productively, in parallel to Liebschen running away crying.

Name: Edge
Gender: Identifies as male
Race: Robot
Battle style: Conventional weaponry
A robot with extradimensional storage space made as a joke. Had a surprisingly sarcastic personality for his alleged level of AI.

Name: Rigel
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Battle style: GUNS BLAZING
A character from a post apocalyptic setting which was active for all of like a week before disappearing off the face of active RP memory. Was an almost ridiculously starry-eyed idealist who was obsessed with technological progress, information, and restoring civilization to the world, or would've been if I ever played him more than like twice.

Name: Matthew Kingsley
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Fighting style: Item creation and enhancement magic
Originally a character from the short-lived and incomplete Nuros setting on roblox, he focused on trying to create where everyone else seemed centered on destroying, investigating the magic behind looted items and building up the village.

Name: Mr. Adventures
Gender: Male
Race: Human, or in his original instance 'modified stickfigure', which is a separate subspecies from the traditional stick figure (the kind people draw normally, preyed upon by the tongue shark) as noted by its thicker robe-like body and remotely operated hand spheres.
Battle style: weaponized slipping up
A guy with an eastern-style straw hat who basically had controllable ultralucky incompetence as a superpower, which could turn all of his mistakes or failures into solving the problem for him and/or causing ultra-massive collateral damage. This sometimes results in Epic Fails that violate the laws of physics, reason, and sanity.

Name: Miss Adventures
Gender: Female
Race: Human, originally modified stick figure
Battle style: Supercompetence, sometimes firearms or magic beams
Mr. Adventures' sister, who has a slightly less effective version of the Path to Victory shard of the Contessa from Worm, which manifests as making her super-competent and sometimes giving her random useful information, plus some independent technomagi narrator powers, but without the guaranteed victory element and it has slightly less perfect body control. She generally serves as cleanup to Mr. Adventures' weaponized hyperincompetence.

Name: Mark
Gender: Male
Race: Slime
Battle style: SHOOP DA WHOOP
A green slime, one of very few males out of a large family of slimes (resulting in his huge number of sisters who are offhandedly referenced), who can fire a mouth laser and hangs out with the Adventures siblings. He has a nerdy technician personality.

Name: Valeria (or possibly Valerica, I do not remember clearly)
Gender: Vaarsuvius gender ambiguity. Possibly a female?
Race: Geometric cat-cube with spiky ears and spiky limbs.
Battle style: GIANT SWORDS
A fast-spinning cat with a giant sword who is friends with Mark. Has a history as one of the surviving samurai of a fallen empire of geometric warrior animals that was defeated by the stick figures despite the aid of the geoanimals' allies the modified stick figures and slimes, but this was several years ago so most of the diplomatic problems between the primary modified stick figure nations and the stick figure nations have been sorted out except for the few modified stick figure tonguesharks that hunt down regular stick figures in uncivilized math homework passages.

Name: Claudia
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Battle style: Light arms, 'weaponized mystery' a la umineko
A crazy cat lady except young-ish detective character from a mystery I tried to write for an assignment. It never happened. She never really went anywhere, but remains An Idea To Be Written Someday.

Name: Mr. Elite
Gender: Male
Race: Human, possibly a bear in more fantastical instances
Battle style: Heavier weapons followed by a more up-close arrest-assault.
A thin but surprisingly strong man who serves as the Watson to Claudia's Sherlock and also 'stand around and look imposing' guy.

And now for entire species-concepts.

Nedbens, who are basically universal repair mechanisms in the form of plant-people with space helmets that show up and fix all of the glaring holes in spacetime all these invading parties rudely rip open and purge or expel from the universe 'anomalies' like SCP items or godmodders.

Shifters, who are basically people who exist across multiple worlds rather than jumping or traveling between them like 'sliders' (people like Catman and the traditional interdimensional voyager type) with eldritch abomination hivemind overconsciousness and management appendage-mind local consciousnesses derived from the body-mind-soul-etc. they were born into in each instance that blended into the overmind and each other to convey information and sometimes glitch ideas across world borders, and direct the power to 'break through the walls of the world' and start channeling power and tangible concepts and things rather than mere ideas.

Suddenmages, which are basically magical regular people who appear fully grown and educated in generic wizard outfits as if cheated into existence by an additem command or popped in an RTS. I made like SO many suddenmage characters and almost all of their promptworlds flopped instantly or were never actually used.

Anvilbirds, which were like these comical cartoon anvils with the pointy side as beaks, with emotive eyes and cute lil yellow duck feet and comically small wings that still allowed them to fly long distances to fall on people's heads as comedy demands. The males are single-anvil/single-segment, while the females are multi-segmented and split-off a number of anvils to spawn more and grow more over time as replacements accordingly, making the females vaguely sky-serpent-eastern-dragon-y like flying waves of metal.

'Name': Dragonborn
Gender: Male, but is a Prisoner and is thus archetypically who the hell knows.
Race: Nord, but is a Prisoner and is thus archetypically who the hell knows any of the Elder Scrolls races and probably some other things.
Battle Style: Anything you can get in Skyrim and some things you can't, modding and console commands included.
And oh god, my Skyrim characters. They're all collected under Dragonborn the Dragonborn, an archetype of the endgame Dragonborn prisoner and event who pretty much became a sane head for AKA who now just lulzes around absorbing dragons and occasionally manifesting other dragonborn in new timeline-threads to play the game all over again in another life (sometimes coercing Sanguine, Meridia, and part-time Sheogorath into following him around and derping across Skyrim with a large number of other followers and NPCs as well, especially the ones whose deaths are plot-mandated for extra fun), as one of the voyager-sorcerers under my author avatar's command for the creation of lulzy and cringeworthy plots, who accordingly wears heavy daedric armor and Konahrik to remain ambiguous but by default looks like the default nord straight off the character creation screen, occasionally with orc tusks. There are like so many facets and one-off characters under this guy it's comically hilarious and I have no hope of remembering them all.

You all know Mr. Quartz, huh. He first arrived during the initial doppelganger attack and was slain by Ms. Rolina. Soon after, he made his return by stealing Mr. Spinel's body to battle against the "lightscrubs". He... did not get very far.

Name: Bell
Gender: Male
Race: Breton
Battle Style: Heavy armor swordsman who uses conjuration and restoration to play second fiddle to his own followers.

Bell was a dragonborn I've played for a while, the top left breton here, one of the default presets,
but with a slightly different facial structure, no dirt, and simpler complexion.
He played through the questline of VIGILANT, defeating Coldharbour and things that belong there for Arcane Power(tm), but my saves kept getting unstable and a friend recommended a new mod, so I'm ditching him here for a while.
